My brother is looking at purchasing a 100 series, I don't know too much about them so any advice on what to look for would be appreciated. Any common issues, things that wear out etc. The car he's looking at is a 1998 model 100 series Petrol GXL with about 175,000km on the clock. FSH. No obvious accident damage or offroad wear & tear.

Cheers

Steve

Go For Gold, being a 98 it would have the rigid front axle, much better then this IFS (Is For Shopping) Sh!te. Take the 4.5L Petrol out and put in a 6.5L Turbo Diesel Chev V8!!! :twisted: Good luck with it. I dont think there is anything serious to look out for the uncle has never had any trouble with his. He has a 6.5L on the way. I'm sure some of the other fellas on ere will inform u of any woe's.

Live axle = giddy up
Petrol = I would imagine thirsty
Cruiser = giddy up
