TB42 + 350 Holley?

Mates lookin at a 350 holley on his TB on Dual fuel.
Anyone using one, is it worth the heartbreak and hassle? What about on hills and things?
Good idea or not?

From what I have read and seen Holleys are Sh!thouse on angles, probably better off rebuilding the stock carby.

ya have to get a nullage (sp) valve from an old BBQ bottle, and its all very illegal, and YMMV & WMAB & shit..

You can get carby's rebuild from The Carby Shop in Wantirna, seems to do a good job for a fair price.

are you talking standard carbs or Hollleys???
Hes working from a thread he saw saying 10l/100 for a TB42, sounds like fantasy to me, but if it happens....

Wouldn't recommend Holley's stick with the standard carby.

Seems a common thought. He is getting 22l/100 and thats fucked! he is hoping for better, thats why wsa thinkin the holley (did I say this? Lots of red wine tonight while Iw as cooking)....
