power loss

Post by burner »

About three weeks ago, coincidentially when I accidentially put some of that nulon lead replacement into the tank (grabbed wrong bottle), the 2.8ITD developed an annoying problem. When It gets started first time for the day; starts fine, warms up fine, drive about 1km at warm up speed, and the car runs out of fuel. just dies. It's been better after I drained the fuel filter, and changed the fuel in the tank (doesn't stop completely), but it does seem weird. Does not do the same after work on the way home. Only get driven about 14kms return to work.

Any ideas

I haven't tried driving it hard from the strat, after warm up.

thanks in advance.
