Has anyone used these bearings off eBay?

I am rebuilding my Bundy and am at the stage where I am attacking the front end and I am requiring new front wheel bearings. I have been quoted $176 for a set (both wheels) of bearing and seals from the local Bearing supplier in town. a price I thought was a bit steep. Then I came across these

I am unsure as to whether I should buy these as they seem too cheap. Is there really that much markup in these items or are these lesser quality?

tried repco, i think my terrain tamer ones from there were bout $57 ea side
if the ebay one is $56 for both sides, id say they are prolly a bit dodgy dont waste $$ on buying a kit that will need replacing in less than a yrs time

Made in Japan AND Germay - they must be good.

I agree with you, spaz, $56 for both side soounds a bit dodgy, but still, it is only $56 and they are fairly easy to do.

I am at the stage where this '6 month' rebuild has taken 7 months :x and I still have a bare chassis and I desparatley want this thing back together. I think I might just go and get these ones and be done with it. If I have to replace them again in a year, so be it. I'll have learnt my lesson and buy some 'good' ones.

Thanks for your input.
Liam.

I have bought a stack of stuff off that seller, it is usually the terrain tamer kits - I don't know why he doesn't picture them as terrain tamer kits. It's as good as you will get from Repco or Kyatt's.

Whilst not the wheel bearings, same seller also had hilux centre bearings, I bought 3 centre bearings $30 each, which is 3 for the best price I could get from repco for 1, had one in for 7 months, and still like new. :D.

At the end you get what you pay for, but my experience has been all good.
