is there a difference on the output flange of the transfer case between the earlier hand brake one and the later wide track zook? reason i ask is i want to swap the handbrake drum onto the case with the 6:1 ratios (widetrack), without splitting the cases.

you can swap them strait over.

but you will have to change the rear shaft at the t-case end to a 8mm bolt type.
