Cruiser Full Floaters: 60 Series vs. 80 Series vs. 75 Series

What are the differences between the two dimension wise? I'm talking WMS width and lengths of axle shafts in each.

These both have 30 spline shafts (just like Hilux) right?

EDIT: Oops, forgot to look in the Bible! WMS for the 80 is 1600, and I found on Pirate the WMS for the 60 to be 1470 or so (can anyone confirm that?)

Overall that's 130mm wider, and divide by 2 makes 65mm, so if the 80 is wider equally on each side the 80 shafts are 65mm longer than the 60 shafts. Can anyone confirm these fingures?

EDIT: Just remembered about the 75 Series FF so I thought i'd chuck that in too.

Ok not realy sure what your trying to do but i can give some comparison between an 80series and a 60series. The 80 series diff centre is more centred than a 60 series so the long side axle is actually shorter than a 60 longside and the short side is much longer. I will measure the differences in them tomorrow at work if i remember.

75 setup is the same as the 40 setup, so shorter than the 60.

They are all 30 spline. Only pre 1969 cruisers, 100 and 78/79 cruisers have different spline counts.

The short (right) side is identical between the 60 and the 75. The long side is where the extra width comes from in the 60 rear diff.

Both 80 axles are longer. The long (left) side is just a bit longer than the 40 long side, about 2 cm if I recall. The short side is much longer.

If Ruff doesn't have the measurements soon, next week I should have the axles to measure.
