maybe you should post this in auto elec section?

What i had done on my zook (before I sold it), was install a relay for low beam and a relay for high beam. Using these you can let the original negative switching part of the car operate the relay, and with the other two terminals, link one to positive 12V and the other terminal to your HID positive switch wire.

basically this would only end up costing about $20 for couple terminals and lugs to suit or some professional looking bases.

If anyone has a relay diagram, or wiring numbers for the lugs, its easy to work out what you need to do. I just cant remember the relay codes right now otherwise i'd tell you which goes where.

I didn't have HID but I did need more power for the 90/130's I was running, the original zook wires crap themselves on the high beam amperage draw.

hey, just run a positive feed into in 30 and 86, 30 is the switch input and 86 is the coil positive feed. then just run a wire from 87, not 87a to ur light and also run the output from the coil, which is 85 to ur light feed, to keep it negative switched. if u want it positive switched, put the feed from the lowbeam or highbeam switch into 86 and earth 85 to frame, then just run b+ into 30 and 87 to light, then run a connection to frame from the light, problem solved.
