Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i bought some new spring bushes for my suzuki sierra. i have put the ones in the shacle end in fine....but the bolts at the hanger end of the spring wont come out.seems like they have seized onto the sleve thats in there...i have belted it with a hammer punch sprayed wd40 and even got out the sledge hammer for a few hits with more wd40 and it hasnt seemed to moove at all. any one had this trouble n has a solution for it?? i need help i need to get it done asap for rego....

U mean it is siezed inside the spring pack eye?

Mine did this so i cut the old bolt off flush with the hanger and pried the spring out. then butchered the bush out with pin included. U can also try a pin punch or another bolt to hit against it to move it inwards.

replace bush and pin/bolt .

Same happened to mine, i just got the angle grinder with the cutting wheel on and cut thru the old bush, and the bolt from the inside of the hanger.

most replacement bushes don't need the steel sleeve, that is the outer one, so butchery to get it out is ok. I also had this happen once, I mangled out the bush with a hammer and screwdriver and I used a sharp chisel and split the steel sleeve and levered it out..have fun, christover

the sleve on the outside of the bush is ok...its the tube about 12mmin diamiter it has siezed onto the bolt so the bolt wont slide out......i have managed to get the other three out with the help of a sledge hammer but the rear pasenger one hasnt budged a bit....so cuting it is the best option??
were can i get new bolts from they have a 7 on them i asume this is the grade of the bold...can i just measure them and get em from a bolt place??

if your cars already off the road, take one of the new bolts back out, and go to a bolt shop or even a hardware shop and they will sort you out for a couple of dollars.

the original rubber burns very easily if you have an oxy/ acteteylene 2/3 minutes will burn the rubber out without overheating the chassis.
