I want to remove both front and rear springs in my GQ this weekend, what is the easiest way to do this once I have removed the shockies, they are 5" springs.

also you'll need to remove sway bars if you have any.
also may need to remove the panhard bar at one end to allow the axle to drop down further.

I put the winch cable over a big tree than back too the bar to take the weight off the front springs Than remove springs being carefull not too place yourself under the car [FOR SAFTY ]
But for the back springs just undo the shocks and drive up a rut thay will fall out

jack it up (the whole car not the axel) as hig as it can go...
i recomend using phone books for the jack...
then use chasis stands... (if need be use phone books under them too)
take off ya wheels, ya shocks, ya sway bar...
and also your break line may need to be taken off the axel...
(By the way this is how we had to do it for the GU)
and then yeh, fiddle and pull off the springs
