Orbital Query

Well after plumping it all up, we are finding that if you just touch the steering wheel it fully extends the ram. Its a Orsta orbital that we are running, looks similar to the one in the pirate section on hydro steer.
Wondering if anyone has run a similar style of ram or run into these typres of problems and is there an adjustment.

I think you've got the wrong orbital. It sounds as if it's just acting like a normal valve block and not working proportionally.
As Antt said, PM 1madengineer to possibly get some more info.

basically there are 5 types of steering units: reaction, non-reaction, open center, closed center and load sensing. I would need to know part numbers to try and find out what it is and the best way in which to plumb it for your application.
