3 core radiator fitted

Hi
Last week, I bought a 3 core radiator for my GQ TD42. The radiator is a copper core with brass tanks. I fitted it on the weekend without major issues. I had to backspace the fan duct about 8mm. Apart from that, it was a straight bolt in. I gave the old girl a workout on every hill in Sydney and nearby I could think off and it makes a massive difference. However hard I pushed her uphill, the temaperture didn't rise much (not anywhere near what I got used to with my old stock radiator).
Cheers
Joachim
