Hey guys
Im just about to install an alarm into my feroza with a gsm dialer so that when it goes off it will cal me, but i also want to put either a microwave sensor or ultra sonics in it so in summer when the roof is off i can park somewhere and it is all good, but just wondering if anyone else has done this and what ort of sensor they used, because i am unsure.
thanks guys
Jason

Microwave sensor is what you want for the when the roof is off.
I used to have one in my Vitara. If your getting a brand name alarm its best to get the same brand for the microwave, Mine was Rhino, was very happy with it. Now i have a Blackwidow bw10000 but i havent got a microwave sensor.
What GSM dialer are you using? does it call you with gps coords? or just call you when the alarm goes off?

I've got a Cyclops dual zone microwave sensor fitted. It works well, but the sensitivity does vary with temperature (as they all seem to, this is my second vehicle with one fitted.)
Large metal things moving close by will also set them off - eg roller doors, tilt doors etc.
