Hey fellas,
went out the other day in the mud and after about an hour the clutch was squealing when i pushed in the pedal, i can change gears fine and the car still drives good, but when i have it in neutral and push it in with the engine running it drops about 150 rpm, like its grabbing, and it squeals, i thought it was a farked clutch but im starting to think it needs adjusting what do ya think????
hope you wise men can help!!

Howdy.. i would first check that the clutch fork boot isn't split.. if it is it very likely that there is mad inside the bellhousing, and a possible dry thrust bearing sounds likely..

cheers

depends on how noisy it it..does it sound life threatning or still fairly driveable.. the only cure is to remove g/ box and inspect all components and replace as required.

if it sounds like the gearbox is going to come up throught the floor then id pull it down asap otherwise your call. id fix it either way.

cheers
