Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Can anyone who has had to replace their airflow sensor on 3.0L give me an idea on price? I replaced mine only 18 months ago and it looks like the "engine coolant error light" that I have on my truck may be airflow sensor related! Airflow sensor cost then was around $900.
I hate the sensitive 3.0L!!
When is Nissan going to do a recall and make a decent replacement item?

The air flow sensor is only around $250.00 genuine Nissan Retail, others have told me they have been quoted $1000.00 but that must be for every thing including the intake piping etc. as well.

another possibilty is see chiptorque and adapt another maf to yours from an import. they are good at this and get good hp putting 300z mafs on 200sx'es etc. I fail to see why a diesel would be different as long as the resistance range is the same

arb replaced mine. When i rang them up they said it is around the $900 mark. The shop owner had replaced 2 in his, and thats what they both cost him. When he rang back to confirm price and fitting he was just as suprised as I was when he said they are now around $250...

So dont worry, its not $900....

Apparently the problem I have isn't air flow sensor related... They're now looking at the wiring from coolant sensor to ECU... might have a break/short somewhere, but seems to get worse as driving goes on? It's got me stuffed!

COULD ALWAYS TRY SPRAYING A LITTLE CARBY CLEANER ON THE ELEMENT.
