I'm thinking of getting a set of 35x10.5x15 pedes to put on my GU with a 3' lift . I was wondering if anyone has the same sort of setup on their GU & could possibley give me some info (ie; rubbing, etc) or possibley post a pic of theirs to give me an idea on how it looks . I had a quick read in the bible section & some say they rub & others say they have no dramas with them . I mainly want to see if they look like balloons on it

steve roly had q78's on a 3.0 GU with 2/3in lift. apparently no rubbing.
I run a 3" lift and 35 MT Bajas on a GU, the only thing I had to do was remove the front mud flaps for when on full lock they touched other wise no problems.
i got 285 mtrs on my gu with 3 inch lift and they rub on the rear inner guard and on the top of the rear inner so i would imagine that 35s would do the the same. if you have a heavier rate spring it may not flex enough to rub?
Have a look at RoldIT's car in the bible (or search). He has 36" pedes with a 3" lift (and modified bump stops) and doesn't have any trouble. There are photos on here of his truck with them on.
I did do a search you tool & nothing came up that was of any help to me. I think the 36's look like floaties . You need atleast a 4' lift to run 36's. I'm looking at getting the 35x10.5 which have a much smaller diameter than the 36's. I'm running 285 75 16 MTR's at the moment & never seem to rub (not standard wheels, different offset). Now I'm wishing I spent the extra $ & went the 4' lift .
Bug if going for the 35's get the 35x11.50R15or16.
These measure abit wider and have slightly wider lug pattern. 10.5 where desigen for rangies that break stuff.
They are also a slightly larger dia (35 and abit).

Oooook, so what you're saying is that looks are more important to you than a higher clearance tyre and lower centre of gravity?

No, what I'm saying is 36's look too big on a 3' lift (too me anyway) & I wouldn't bother putting them on mine unless I had atleast a 4' lift ( which would give you more ground clearance for better departure angles & keep those sills clear from damage too):roll: . I would imagine they'd be rubbing like crazy at full flex (if it would fully flex before hitting up under the guards/tray) which would be less likely if you had a 4' lift, but I don't so that is just my opinion . Either way, they still look like balloons & 35's would have probably done just fine (especially if you're worried about the whole centre of gravity thing ) . Opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got one, that is mine . Thanx for your help anyway .
