Outer Limits 4x4 Board

been seaching all over the joint look for diy bead lock kits. the only site i can find any info is on pirate4x4.com.
does anyone know if i can get one of these kits in melbourne or even aust.

trik offroad products, do a search as we did a group by not long ago, ps they will not work with flipped rims.

try procomp in melb or give overkill 4x4 a call in syd

The inner edge of the rim, which becomes the outer edge is different and makes it harder/unable to weld the beadlock onto it.

they will work. it just makes it a bastard to mount your tyres. you have to put the whole tyre on over the inside edge, then try and pull the outer bead back out over the locking ring.

Made these myself, got Bylaser in Brisbane to laser cut the steel, just supplied them with the Cad Drawings, can send them t oyou if you wish.

Worked out at $75 for inner rings, $55 for outter rings + bolts.

All up $190 then just needed the rims, new steelies were $75 each, then a few welding rods and sikaflex and your done!

Better yet gimme the measurements and $250 and will send some down to you

And BTW yes would work on flipped rim, as said will need to be pulled out over ring, isnt a issue if rubber is new and still soft.

u didnt use enough lube antt

we tried to fit the tyre on the way it was goin to go with the beadlock were it should be, there was no way in hell it was goin on, for starters it stalled the machine and there was not enough stretch in the bead to get it over because of the wider ridge on the rim, and we would of likely fuked the bead if we continued.

took it to the biggest 4wd tire place in brisbane and they couldn't get the thing on, even with 5 guys trying it

ARB southern or ( southern race gear ) in dandenong sells them. I got mine there , 110 bucks for inner and outer rings and just weld them on .cheers shane.............
