GQ Brakes

just about to change my pads. was wondering what are the best pads to put into my truck.
i have a coil sprung gq ute if that makes a difference.

Genuine Nissan pads are about the best.
Has been discussed before.

I've been advised to use Bendix 4wd pads or metal kings if you don't care about rotor wear.

Ive used 3 sets of the Bendix ones, I find they just dont last. :(

ive been told Frodo (spelling) pads are great on our trucks, thou i havnt used them yet, but i will be tryin them next

Ill be changing back to the bendix4x4 pads as last time i used them with slotted rotors they were awsome May not last as long but no noise and work very well plus a little more $$$ but hay they work

Yer but you drive pretty hard and play in the mud.
12mths ago I reduced a half worn pad to nothing (actually it dissapared doing 100km/h (fully loaded patrol takes awhile to pull up on the hand brake). And that was all cos we drove through a heap of mud in and around Innaminka.
