rear disk conversion on 89 troopy

Hi people one of my mates has a 1989 troopy and wants to do a rear disk conversion on it just wondering who has done it? and is it possible to put axle's from a later model 75 series with disk brake rear end ? it is a 4.2 petrol also dont know if it makes a difference

That is exactly what I did to my 1987 HJ75. I changed the master cylinder to a 4 wheel disc brake master from an 80 series (because that is all that was available to me) and replaced the parking brake cable to a 1993+ cable as the disc model is a little shorter.
As long as you use a diff from a 6 cylinder 75 series the C&P ratios should be the same. Five cylinder 75 series have a 4.56 diff ratio.
