Ok maybe someone on here can help me out with this and set things straight once and for all.

Info is in the pic attached, so read that.

It's mainly the widths that vary in the actual sizes, which I would assume is from using different sized rims when measuring. The dias are reasonably consistent. .

Simex always seem to be way off in their own measurements, which may be done for comp reasons.

for starters the 32,9.5 et does not measure 33.4" on a 7 or 8" rim.

No, but the 32x10.5's are around that. They're big.

I have emailed simex nz but got no reply, my email my have bounced though.

Simex 4x4 says that the 32x9.5x15 measures 33.4x10.5x15 and Simex NZ says the same.

Maybe a standard rim size should be put into place when measuring tyres.
eg. if tyre is 10.5 or bigger then an 8" rim
if tyre is smaller than 10.5 then a 7" rim.
I dont understand why they cant just make it al standard...

Ring Tyreline in Hamilton on 0800 474 639.

Chris Malcom used to be the guy to talk to, but he has recently left. Suggest you speak with Grant or David Rushbrooke.
