I have the 1990 NG SWB auto with 33" (255/85/16) tyres and the vehicle goes alright, no rocket from the lights but will sit on the speed limit with some in reserve but will downshift regularly to keep this speed up hills.
I have checked the diff ratios and there something like 4.825 from memory, so there is still a bit in reserve.
I have contacted ARB re rear locker and they are non comital at the moment whether it will fit (Jap import) and would like someone to try it out at your expense. check the internet for listings of vehicles the locker will fit intercooled turbo diesel is excluded.
now.... what would be the differences in diffs anyone????
I don't think there would be, they are only covering themselves for somthings which may come up in the install????
As for lift everyone makes a kit for them, but springs from a later model LWB (which are progressive) fit and give 2" lift very cheap if sourced from the wreckers, wind up the torsion bars to match.

thats in formative but i will have to get longer travel shock absorbers to go with the lift woudn't i. so with a 2.5 spring lift and a 2 inch boddy lift could i get 34i Jt2's under or would i have to settle for 33's
