Hi gang,
my v6 nf has a intermittant problem which to me feels like it's dropping one cylinder. when crusing i can have full power for say 10mins then the power will drop for 10 etc. does this sound like a bad injector or something. wouldn't mind getting a few ideas before i tear everything apart.
cheers.

Check / Change your fuel filter.
Check your fuel tank breather is clear

Start with a fuel additive to clean injectors. I know the additives for diesel injectors work wonders.

Also check ignition leads at both ends to make sure you are getting continual contact.

Well, i changed the battery over the other week and i haven't had a reoccurance yet.
something in the rear wiper circuit was shorting (disconnected it when battery was changed) so i wonder if that had something to do with it.

Check your thermistat or replace it.If it does not open correctly then the engine will overheat causing loss of power. The thermistat helps maintain the correct engine coolant temp.Very cheap.
