G'day
Last weekend i replaced teh front wheel bearing on my 85 sierra because the drivers side had collapsed. But after i had put them on and tightened the bolts, the wheel still moved indicating the bearings were not in tight enough

. I then tightned the bolts up as tight as they would go and it still moves

. Does anyone have any ideas why it's still moving???

check the 4 bolts that are behind the disc that hold on the stub axle.
if that dont fix it, double check your wheel bearing adjustment.

which was is your wheel moving?
when you move the wheel on it's horizontal axis (grabbing top and bottom of the wheel and doing the old push pull) does the whole knuckle housing move?
you could find that your king pin bearings have play in them.

serious? I never had issues with my 32's. must be the quality of where I bought them
but you'd be getting the same ones mark. possibly your offset is larger than what mine was and is flogging them out?
