GQ auto Q

i have a TB42 auto, and i was wondering, can i run Dextron III in my box instead of the nissan oil??? i have been told you can by some and you can't by others. any help would be great.
Course you can run Dex3. Unless I`m mistaken the box was designed to be run on Dex 2 and thats what I use in mine although it`s td42 auto. The boxes are made by Jatco aint they?
