rear locker?
Ive narrowed my choice for the rear of my 80 series to Detroit, TJM, ARB and Factory electric lockers. What would you guys go for and why? I like the idea of the manual lockers for on the road, but I also like the detroit for the fact that its always there any you dont have to think about it
Without telling you to SEARCH, the majority of the thousands of threads that have starteds like this end with
40% saying Air locker
40% saying lockrite/Lokka
20% detroits
Pros for the
Air locker
You have it when you want it and don't when you don't (turning tight etc)
Lokka
Price and auto and good onroad manners
Detroit
Strong and auto
Cons for the
Airlocker
Price and need for airlines
Lokka
not the strongest and can't turn it off
Detroit
Poor onroad handling behaviour
It all comes down to your personal use and budget. In a dedicated offroad or DD?
