Spotlight Placement

G'day,
I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for placement
of the 4 x 100W Narva Ultimas (They are rectangle shaped) on my Hi-Lux.
I have attatched a bitmap pic (note the skillz  ) of the two locations I am thinking about. At the moment I am looking at either the top of the roll-bar or failing that, on the front bar.
Which of these is a better setup??
I would like to put them on the roll-bar, to keep them out of harms way, but will this impede the performance of the lights?

Cheers,
Bart

ive got 4 ipfs on my roll bar 2x spread and 2 pencils they work well up there but there is a little light bleed that comes in through the back window, as for begin out harms way we they are sorta but you gotta watch out for low tree branches and what not or they might get ripped off

Hey mate,

With this setup, I was thinking I could pivot the outer 2 lights
outward and downward to give side light on those night missions.

This as well as rock-lights will be more than enough light I would think?

But I spose they are a little prone to damage from trees and supermarket
carparks and what not.

Regards,
Bart

Whatever you do, don't mount them to the bottom of the bullbar.....you will smash them in no time.

put them on top of the roof, ever driven thru deep water in the dark, you can't see if the lights go under.

some of those blue suited jolly fellows might have issues with high mounted lights - I reckon stick them up there, but don't be tempted to use them on the street.
