DIY shower using pesticide sprayer

Here is my DIY shower using a new stainless steel sprayer, $65 form Bunnings, never had any pesticide in it.

I 3/4 fill it then pump it up with my onboard compressor, about 10 seconds worth until the gauge gets to red. I fitted a NITTO air connector where a pressure relief valve was. This might be a little risky but there is a guage to show the pressure.

The shower pole came from Crazy Clarks for $25 but I changed to head to a lower flow one. The pole has a spike on the bottom and when threaded through a side handle on the sprayer, stands up well in soil/sand.

Its good enough for 2 showers if you turn it off when soaping up. Its handy to take somewhere more private than next to the car.

The sprayer can be left in the sun to heat up the water or filled with hot water.

I think some of the bigger plastic sprayers may work too.

Taking it to Fraser next weekend...beaudy!

That looks very tidy U could remove your guage and put a "T" piece in and run both the guage and the relief.

Whats wrong with the $20 coleman ones you plug into ciggy lighter, pump bit into the tub.... Stand in a tub so water recycles... Use tub to pack shower gear into :)

You definitely need sometihng other than dirt to stand on, but a grill of some kind would work.

Still, I would personally not be averse to using water twice; anyone who grew up in the country during times when water was scarce would be familiar with sharing bathwater with the family...

We found our washing-up tub perfect to stand in while we showered. About 10 litres showered two of us, with some left over. And we cleaned the dishes, too!
