When my NH was IFS I had a 2.5" suspension lift and a 2" body lift and with the 34x11.5" JT2's I didn't get any rubbing on the rear but only a bit on the front if it fell into holes to hard (wheels compressing into the guards). But not enough to really worry about.
These are on 15x8" ROH Trac 2 steel rims with Cruiser offset.
Mines a 5sp 3.0 V6 and had 4.88 gears when IFS and I reckon it was marginal and struggled on hills (ok on the flat).
Now it has 5.29's and some tuning mods, it certainly is better but still struggles at times. There's no substitute for torque and thats basically the problem with the 3.0 V6.
I found 33"s fine with a lwb 3.0 V6 5sp and 4.88 gears but I think thats at the torque limit.
I'll be looking at doing something with the motor early next year - maybe a conversion. As it is the power is ok it's the lack of low down torque thats the problem.

thanx man u reckon a couple of turbo's or maybe a exhaust and power chip would make much diference or would it be better to throw in a 2.8l turbo deisel.
