Cargo tie-down points in Disco's
Hi all,
Is anyone using the threaded holes in the floor of their Disco for tie-down points?
I know they're a 7/16" UNF thread, but i'm not sure if there's such a product that provides a tie-down point and only requires one bolt.
And i'm not too keen on making new holes right above the fuel tank.

I used them I purchased recessed D anchors from the local hardware store and drilled a hole through the middle to fit the 7/16" UNF bolt. Trimmed the carpet to let the anchor sit flat.
Here is a picture of one of the rear ones. There are 4 in total. The front ones are just at the back of the rear seat (under the liner in the photos).

Definetly agree, just saying the Series II ones were there for those that may want the "genuine" part.red90 wrote:That is held down by one bolt. It is the stock official tie down location. I'm sure there were official tie downs. But those cost $3 and you can buy them anywhere. Makes much more sense in my mind.....lilpigzuk wrote:but are held in by 1 bolt.
