I posted this in another post but be better in here as i was having sql errors before

Due to a careless wrecker ripping out the old drivers seat with a crowbar it has ripped the welded nuts on the rear drivers seat mount through the mount and looking a bit like a mess.

I was going to get some 70-75mm RHS or channnel and box the original units in and weld them up. then use a new bolt + nut/nyloc or weld new nut on underneath for seat bolting.

i was thinking of getting some 3mm wall for this as the orig is paper thin.

thanks

Nic

I'm not sure of the setup but it would be best to run right through to under the floor with a crush tube where required and a 80 x80 x3 load spreading plate under the floor. From memory the bolts had to be either 3/8 or 5/16 min can't remember which so that's either 10 or 12mm. Better to over engineer and keep the engineer happy therefore the transport guys will stay off your back.

build a full cage and tie the seats into it (not tie as in use rope either :D )
