3 link rear

Hi guys,
after any advice, do's, donts etc.
Have a gen1, with bugger all flex from the rear (due to the radius arms) if I remove the sway bar the radius arms can snap at the bushing, and the flex will still limited(due to the radius arm design).
I have seen 1 paj on here (a gen 2 with a front sas instalation) that had 3-linked the rear, so this is obviously an option.
The other way I have seen is where 1 of the radius rods is modified to allow more flex, but this would seem to weaken the rear end.

Hi Matt
I removed 1 bolt from 1 rear arm and it freed up the rear immensly.
With all 4 bolts any flex has to twist first the bush's and then the housing.
I drove the vehicle on and off road like this with no anti roll bars front or rear, it body rolled alot but seemed stable enough at sensible speeds. Driven hard it would pick up the inside front wheel on turns.
Of course any tips here are totally at the users own risk.

HI J Top,
With the rear bolt removed, what shock absorbers did you run to utilise this? Did it let both sides gain more droop more or just the one?

I was running Rancho incar adj 9000, I removed 1 rear bolt and it freed up both sides. It does not give more droop as such, it gives more flex.

J Top, cheers for that, had thought about removing the bolt but was unsure if it would cause any probs, alot simpler tha the work/cert for a 3 link.

Furtherest. It will take some driving to get used to it . The added flex also equals more uncontrolled body roll/tip on sidlings

i pulled the pin on the transfer side this arvo and it allowed full
compression.
i was told this was the one to do? spat me a load about acceleration twist.
so i was suppose to pull one on the back of the axle eh...
