lots of 3/4 tech in the zook section. Same theory can be adapted to your hilux.
Have you looked at coils instead? This would give you a more comfortable ride, better handling and imporved wheel travel.
All 3/4 will give you is more suspension droop.

Dave camps Lux (gold chopped runner) has 1/4 elliptic rear. Think his login is "dave"

I knew you had it - but everyone knows you have "it"
Yours isnt a lux though
BTW - In the time it takes to type some scathing comment about the search button, you could have answered the question

My comment wasnt scathing, it was mearly some words of advice. I cant be arsed searching for someone else. I have already given my advice about 3/4 setups a few times, so if you want it have a search

3/4 are much simplier to setup and could be done pretty quick. I have not done this myself so do not proclaim to be an expert. But it seems with a second set of main leaves, a few u-bolts and a bit of mucking around you could have a setup that works fairly well.
Personaly I would be looking at coils over a 3/4 setup first, the cost and engineering would be huge in comparasion
