Ok guys i need some measurements ,

Research for Under 1000KG buggy ,
Ive been going to do this for a while now but just trying to find the best front wheel drive unit to use , so pulling a few to bits and doing some comparing some sizes . (And i chucked my zook junk out)

I need some one to measure the width of a zook transfer gear thats Across the teeth .

First box i have to check out is a swift /barina manual with a typical failure
in the cross shaft of the final drive , (fools use a single shaft) .

If i can find a final drive comparable to the size of the zook tranfer gears un width , it should be close to the same strengh and of simaler durability.

Want it so light up top iT,ll side slope like a roach . ;)

Help !

Larry.

Just a begining . not for comp use .

But if it was we could allways ballast it up with some h2o in the tires .

pulled the box apart this arvo , has a final drive of 3.52-1 , don,t know the first gear ratio as yet . outputs are 22 spline just under 1" ,
would say there the same as the front inner axle spline as a sierra W/T front, or front output of the transfer runs this size to.

Drive gear is 25mm wide , shame the ratio isn't over the 4 -1 mark.
