There was a factory turbocharged 4G54 in the US. Try searching some US sites for information? You may need to buy head and manifolds - I don't know if the US manifolds would match Australian heads. I recall somebody posting about some company importing the motors into Australia - you could try searching here, too.

There is also a theory that the Triton 2.4i will bolt into the Paj pretty simply, and the Lancer turbo manifolds supposedly bolt straight on.

If you can find one of the Australian Sigma Turbos (GH Sigma sedan - 2.0l carby turbo) you might be able to transfer the manifolds to the 2.6? I'm not sure the stud patterns are the same...

Cheers,

Scott

We do it here in the US with a [relatively easy] swap from the Starion. Thing is, over here the car with a turbo'd 2.6L. I believe you got a 2.0L there. For us it's mainly a matter of swapping in the motor, the main wiring harness, and the computer. Don't know how you would get it together over there.

People here could get you the parts, with one main exception. The 2.6L-T block has oil squirters for the pistons. There are other differences in the pistions themselves (lower comp) and a few other things. The consensus here is that you would not want to run the boost on a NA truck 2.6 past around 6PSI. A properly built turbo block on the other hand is considered to be able to safely handle 12PSI.
