I just purchased a certain comp 82 rangie and was wondering if anyone out there would know about the COST AND WHERE for a full swap from complete rangie running gear to GQ. Axles, diffs (lamenated, lockers etc), transmission and gearbox. Ive been told around the 10g mark from Rangie automotive but im wondering of theres ne1 else out there who can do some more comp prep for the old girl. NEED more strength!!!
Cheers!

Adrian at Rangie Automotive quotes around $10k drive in drive out for supply and fit full GU gear (diffs, box, transfercase) with ARB lockers. Around $3k-$4k cheaper for GQ gear.
Cheezy also can do, I have seen GQ diiffs, gearbox, etc all sell for around $2k where as the GU front ends are around $2k alone.

It's 10k for WHOLE driveline swap, not just diffs.
Les Richmond (AKA Rangie Spares) has been doing Nissan swaps for quite a few years too.
You forgot to mention which state you're in, but I assume you're from Vic if you've already spoken to Rangie Automotive.

Still, you may as well by a patrol or fit a rangie body onto a patrol chassis coz it will be the same thing. And LRA fits the gq 5spd to rangies not the full running gear, Andrew has more sense than that .

I agree 100%.. the money you will spend on upgrading/strenghtning drivline buy a nissan.. i spent a few bucks upgrading my diffs to maxi's etc but should have just brought another nissan.. by the time you swap, engineers and debug you will be wishing yoou brought a nissan
unless you have a pasion for the ol rangie id chose nissan anytime!
