Yep its all the fatory arms except the long arm has been braced with 8mm steel . But im thinking of making a hole new long arm that is welded to the ring so it will be all one arm like one of those kung fu arms from the states. With a grinder i dont think it would be very hard too notch the long arm around the ring.

U thinking of using RHS or similar? and run a plate or run it around the mount end and slot and weld at ring end?
Be excellent to see how it comes out.
cheers

should i get the spacers cut and weld them to the ring, this would jack the price up though.
i was also thinking maybe they could do with a slot cut in them to slide the long arm through then you guys could just weld either side.

1st, ROCTOY, are you still making another run of these rings?
2nd, are they still $35?
3rd, who has fitted one already? pics please, if you can. how have people fitted it? and what problems, if any have they encountered. or have people just made new mounts on the chassis for this?
i'm helping my mate build up his sierra, and he's interested. its basically stock, but might have S3 RH soon. will be SPOA, RUF, 33"s, etc etc.
thanks

yes
SiKiD_01 wrote:

depends on how much i change the original design, if it stays the same they will still be $35, i have to do a run of 20 at a time to maintain this price, if i start doing one off's they will come in around the $50 mark each.

well, there are 20 people on here that bought them last time and it looks like zook60 is the only one to do anything with his so far, so i can't answer that question yet.

I dont realy know much about this Zook Junk but my ideas on this mount will end up very similare to this. If im correct and that piece bolts on to where the Hand Brake Drum would normaly go?? However this wont bolt on with any standard mounts. I will be totaly re-mounting it.
For those interested im buying this Ring as i currently have Shorty40s Aztec in getting some work done at the moment. The Gorilla doesnt fit inside it too well
So i cut the entire top of the cage off the other day

GUYS THIS WILL BE THE LAST RUN OF THESE AT THIS LOW PRICE.
Due to business overheads, materials and labour costs, the price will go up in the new year,
they will still be a good cheap option for ensuring the life of your geared transfer but they wont be $35 anymore probably around $60 - $70.
The design will be changed slightly too with a couple of options, (welded on spacers etc) but this current batch will remain the same as the first lot.
Cheers Chris
