Hi Guys,
Just a quick question about changing oil filters.
When doing you 5000k oil chnage do you change you oil filter as well or do you change you oil filter every second time.
I know diesel are different, however, whe I used to have my commodore I did 5000k oil changes but changed the filter every 10000, is this OK??
Also what other regular servicing is required, I think it is fuel filter every 10000K?
Cheers
Zam

Re: Changing oil filter
Its ok, but considering the cost of an oil filter is generally less than the oil itself I would be changing it as well.Zam wrote:Hi Guys,

As for the fuel filter i do mine every 40k, but thats just me.
Air filter should be at least checked and cleaned everytime you do the oil. Change it maybe every 20k if you do alot of dirt driving.

Thanks guys,
I was pretty much going to do it anyways, I thinkn I can spare the additional $5 cost, hahaha.
It was more just a general interest type question to see what other people do and if need to do a service but am struggling for time whether it make a lot of difference if you skip the filter change every now and then.
Cheers
