Outer Limits 4x4 Board

somewhere on this forum i thought i came across a post that talks about the last 3 digits of your chassis # as the ratio of your gearbox... is this right? Because if that's the case has anyone else come across an auto box with a final drive of 2.9? Because that seems really tall to me - bearing in mind that at a constant 130kph/80mph i was only doing 2000rpm

I thought the tallest ratio nissan put into the auto GQ's was a 3.9 ratio or am i wrong?

Look on compliance plate.. it will be HG39

chassis # tells you the diff ratio not the gearbox
