I am making plans to restore/rebuild my Landcruiser 1986 LJ70/Bundera 2.4L diesel. My model/frame has coil springs.
Is it possible to purchase a new frame for this model? Does Toyota still produce it? If they do I assume it ill be expensive? I heard a company in the US makes frames for the 40 model Landcruiser?

why not buy one that has a decent frame and swap the good gear over to it?
the 40 series frames in the US are built because there is a huge following over there for restoration, where i don't know of too many bundy resto's

I'm finding hard to get those sort of parts for my bundy resto. I am after a floor panel for the drivers side and have not come up with anything yet either.

My advice to anyone restoring Bundies is buy a cheap "parts donor".
V6 Bundy, the blue one that I am wrecking has a good floor in it if you want it, otherwise it will be going to SIMS Metal when I am finished with it.
Also if anyone knows where I can get a decent firewall for a 7* series of the fold down windscreen variety without any rust in the usual spot (beneath hinges) please PM me
Chris Keller the body I have is probably not real good it has significant amounts of rust but if there is anythin you are after specifically PM me and I'll see if I can help out.

Where are you located? I have the remains of a BJ73 I pulled apart that has a little rust on the windscreen surround but not too bad. Everything is gone from the firewall forward so it would be easy to get at too.
PM ur email address and I can send pics from when it was still a car!
