60 needing bigger shocks and cooler cabin

Ok after playing with the search button (and not myself) for a while I havent been able to locate much. I have two questions that need some answers.
1. I have extended the shackles in the old girl and now the shocks are abit too short as I am running out of flex when I should still have some in the back pocket (does flex come in a spray on can
). What I want to know is what do I need to lengthen the shocks. I have heard hoops and rear reversals are the only way to get longer ones in. Is this true or is there an easier way?
and
2. The fan has completely stopped working, this wasnt a problem earlier but we painted the old girl black and now Im worried about home made roasted nuts occurring in the cab. I checked the fuses but the only one that looks rerlated to the air is the aircon one which is fine. As it went on its way out I was able to flick the outside to inside air lever a couple of times and she would fire back up. But now even that dont work. Any ideas guys?
Cheers

just flex it up, take some messurements.. then go to pedders or something, or even supercheap, if u want cheap.. or u can call 4wd one or sumthin if u want some ranchos or whatever.... depends how much u wanna spend...
i cant imagine u would have to change mounts to fit longer shocks if u ones u got now are maxin out...
pretty much compress one front and one back corner right up till it aint goin no more, (bumpstop, tires in gaurd whatever stops your upward compression).. messure the shock mounting distance and take that messurement and find the longest shock u can that has say an inch of compression left when its the same lenght as the compressed shock mounts.. make sence?? lol

Cheers guys...
I am pretty sure the mounts are going to need to be changed. Slayer you are pretty tops with metal what do you reckon about making up some gear, is it an easy job or would I just be better off buying. Superior sells em for $150 and end.

how hard is wat? i dont know what u want, never even looked at the shock mounts on a 60... i got no idea what u want me to build...
i still cant believe its not postible to fit longer shocks... when u fully compress the suspension does the shock bottom out...???? if not, how far is it from bottoming out... 2 inches?? then u got room for 2 inch longer shocks without them bottoming out
....
