Basically like the look of this.
From the filename it looks like it is a Frontera but looking through our local carsales I couldnt identify the model ...
K$FCnzler$60s~~RS~Frontera~Volkiland~98.JPG is filename.
I found the pic on this site
http://www.opel-club-kadasco.ch/6628.html but I dont speak German (?) so couldnt get any more info on it.
Anyone know if we can get something the same locally ?

just curious, but how are the Isuzu Mu and the Holden Frontera different, other than the Local content in the Holden (Holden Engine and Isuzu Diffs), and the fact that generally, the Holden Frontera sport (UT Model) is a later model than the earlier Mu's?

ok the MU of the same year as a frontera lets say 95
firstly the MU' are made in Japan
Frontera I am not exactly sure but have heard they were made in Mexico but it might just be somewhere in America
neither have ever had the same engine or gearbox in them.
the bodys are different at the fuel door one is round and one is square, mu's had steel tops or a hard ute cover, where as frontera has fibreglass top. Rear door opens different ways.
Mu's have leaf spring and disc rear, frontera has 4 link and drums.
Chassis are different towbar and bullbars are not interchangeable.
Mu's are 2 or 4 seats, frontera is 5 with a rolebar in the back.
That about all that I can think of at the moment, but it's a but like saying that the Landwind X9 is the same as the MU or frontera, I think not!!!
this is a landwind
and more about them here

what about the later MU's? are they similar to the UES Frontera? And WTF is a Landwind?

by Yarno
ok these landwinds are made in china, it looks like they have got the old japanese moulds, and are producing fairly crap cars....
the only thing I found about the UES frontera was that they are made in the US and have a 4 cylinder petrol engine, the MU's were made in Japan still and had only the 3L diesel 4JX1
I also found out that the 95-98 frontera was made in united kingdom not mexico....

the UES frontera 4 door had the 3.2V6.

yep thats a wizard in japan and they do have the V6 the same, but these are also made in different countries, wizard in Japan and frontera in US or UK.
I just found this out that the 5 door frontera of the same year could be made in the UK or US it depends on the model code
ie.
if it's got 8MB35-121 it's made in UK and if it's got 8MB35-221 it's made in US.... I guess this is why there are 2 different rear lockers made for them as they have different diffs for different countries.....
wow learn somthing new everyday
cheers

Ok cool, so what diff is in them then?? I have only seen drum rear ones when I was after a handbrake cable...
I just looked up red book and they say they are all 4 seaters
oh well.
Isuzu MU
Isuzu Amigo
Holden Frontera
Vauxhall Frontera
Opal Frontera
Honda Jazz
thats all the ones I can think of
And the newest
Landwind X9 - at least this maybe an option for front guards as you can't get them anymore, not even genuine!
