By any chance, does anyone of you recognise this Rear Brake Caliper?
The person I bought it from said that it is from an Isuzu Trooper or pick- up, but when I compared it to my fathers on his Trooper, it seemed somewhat different!

I am intending to fit it to my landrover as it allows handbrake operation, and I also need to buy new rubber seels for it before fitting.

Its part no. is J1101
and it's pad no is AK NS507

any help would be appreciated
Keith

Can some of you Isuzu owners at least tell me which vechiles do these calipers not belong to?

Maybe I can start eliminating some guesses I have made.

I would say it did come from a bighorn/trooper/jackaroo it looks like the 91 model with disc brake rear end which is the same as the 2.8 MU's which I have, the later 3.1 MU's and 92 on Jackaroo/trooper/bighorn had a drum in the centre of the disc for the hand brake.

It looks like there are a couple of bits missing on that caliper like the slides....

Thanks for the info Yarno.
The calipers came complete, even with the brake pads, although it was half dismantled when I took the photos.
I have now bought new seals for the piston and new brake pipes. They left my pocket empty :x so expensive!

I also fabricated thick iron flanges to attach the calipers to the rover axles.
Photos will be attached when ready.
