For those inclined, where are you sourcing the full t-case rebuild kit from and what is the cost. My S3 Rh started to grumble so pulled it apart and while the gears are still good the barings and counter shaft are NFG.

I need all barings - including the needle barings on the countershaft and the main shaft, a new countershaft, all gaskets and seals and a t-case shifter bush. I actually need 2 shifter bushes cause my spare t-cases' one is missing.. Oh and it wouldnt hurt to get a couple of new nuts that hold on the flanges on too as a couple of mine look a bit ordinary.

Ive PM'ed Mud4b already but he must be away or busy.

expect to pay around the 350 mark for bearings and countershaft.

Cool. I just paid $550 for a T/C rebuild and now that I have seen the price of parts, I am very happy

Greetings of the season to you all.

Cheers

sorry dude.

we offer 3 kits.

kit 1 is a bearing and seal kit. does not include the gen gear bearings.
$200.

kit 2 is the same but with the gen gear bearings and washers and counter shaft.
$310.

kit 3 is the bomb. it includes everything including gaskets, all bearings, counter shaft, washers, seals (including counter shaft seal, all 3 speedo drive seals),3 nuts, shifter bush, spring and pin kit.
$450.

now if anyone is going to say omg what a rip off..
go and get a price on the genuine gear roller bearings and shaft.
this is where most of the money goes.

The prince stings a bit but not as bad as when your S3 'hopper gets munched coz of a flogged out shaft etc.
