Well I discovered recently that boredom, alcohol and a bunnings up the road can end up being lots of fun and games.
I had wanted a rear fold down table on my back door for a while so I finally got off my arse and made one up, I wandered down to bunnings, picked up a couple of sheets of ply, then trundled over to autobarn and picked up some new speakers and wooohooo. Now its time for me to get to work on my draw setup. And yes the bright bright bright wood has been stained a darker colour so you dont need sunglasses to look at it, and I am just about to mount 2 stubbie holders on the table as well
I must be feeling ill or something, because I also fixed my rattling exhaust, remounted my roof rack/cage on a stronger set of roof racks and cleaned all the crap out of my car woooow

Where did you mount the speakers? or they dont have em in the rear doors standard? thats the prob with mine, I have the table already made up same as that, but where to put speakers is the prob
It doesnt rattle at all as I made the latch fairly tight and there is a bead of silicone between the wood and the door, it has been stained a dark brown colour so it isnt so bloody bright.
Bogged I just re-routed the speaker cable back out of the doors and ran them up the side pillars to where the speakers sit above the doors. The speakers themselves are mounted on brackets which screw into the metal above the doors. No problems with them moving just yet and they have been there for a couple of months

fawk, didnt even see the box speakers. I think theywould be good headbeaters gettin in and out?
Did you use the existing trim holes for the back board or drill self tappers into the metal?
Also, strange request, but does anyone have any ideas how to flatten out a stainless steel beer keg? I cut the top and bottom out, cut down the middle and I can only spread it apart about 300mm. I want to use the stainless for a rear table, good for cleaning fish, etc...
