GQ Front Speakers...

I have seen a few threads on this but not an answer to the question i want to ask.
Background: I have electric front windows where the armrest holding the window controls and the speaker grill all appear to be one unit.
Questions: 1. Does anyone know what size the standard speaker is behind these plastic grills? 2. Does anyone know what depth the standard speaker is behind these grills?
I ask the above two questions as other threads appear to have been asked/answered by those within manual windows which my vehicle doesn't have.
Thanks for your help.

The front speakers are NOT in one unit with the power window modules and can be pulled apart and replaced seperately.
Because you already have the power winsow rests there your leg room is compromised anyway by them so you can run speaker spacers to dun normal depth speakers as shown by blackmav. (this is what I've done).
Anywhere that sells you speakers should have them if not you can grab them from supercheap.
I'd buy black ones though

what's the normal size speaker then... 5 1/4" or 6"?

6" is standard.
I packed my speakers out with washers, not really ideal, I should probably get some spaceers, but at the time I just wanted to get some decent speakers in there quick!

standard depth speakers are something like 30mm if that...

Standard size is 6".
The front speakers are very thin on account of the window guide which runs right behind the speaker. In vehicles fitted with 1/4 vents the front guide is not behind the speaker and nornal speakers can be fitted.
Mine are Alpine. BIG IMPROVEMENT :

same as me too. i have fitted some 6 or 6 1/2" pioneer splits in there with the tweaters in the corner of the A-Pillar for A+ sound, oh and amplification is even better
also needed 2 packers, i think they are 12mm ea, 2 just for a bit extra clearance.
