Powertrax No Slip and Loc-rite Lockers...Not the Same.

Don't know about you but I have all ways thought that "Powertrax", "No Slip" and "Loc-rite's" where the same thing, different name. Not so, here are the links to the 2 different lockers:

http://www.rocky-road.com/lockright.html

I installed a no-slip in the rear of my old mans troopy on the weekend (we put a loc-rite in the front a couple months ago). They are kinda the same but the No-slip uses a syncro set up for enguagement. On the tar it clicked a couple times in the first couple turns till the oil got around and then no more. Can't get it to click, clack, clunk or any other noise on the tar that a loc-rite does.
From the limited "off road" testing (rocks on the side of the road) it seems to enguage fine but quieter.
The No-Slip seem to be a perfect (for an auto locker) choise for the rear diff for road use.

Will tell more after it gets a real work out.

Oh, it does cost an extra $100 or so than the Loc-rite. But for under $600 AUS it still beats paying over $800 local for the Loc-rite.
