Outer Limits 4x4 Board

ok had a look to see if there is adjustment that you can make to the headlights on low beam they are shocking all facing to the left and down so much so that i had a drive of it the other night with the highbeams on the whole time and nobody knew any different
has anybody had a play with these cause i need to get them sorted its my wifes truck so i dont drive it much i cant understand how she has put up with it

but in the falcon i had... there were two little nobs in the back of the head light unit thing...
one for y axis and one for x

looked there?

yeah iknow thats what i was tring to find but the gu dosent seem to have them

This sounds like a lot of work but it works and once setup makes it very easy to get it right.

I had trouble working out my GU adjusters too but you need to use a wall so you can see which screws moves what light in which direction. Works a treat.

the link dont seem to work but was going to use a wall to do it but im still tring to work out the actual screws to start making adjustment

Strange, link seems to be down although it was up yesterday.

The adjustment is 2 white wheels behind the lights, as you look down from the top. The are like gear cogs, one side free spins to to stop the screwdriver slipping off and the other side spins the adjustment screw. You'll see how it works when you give it a go.

Or viewing the light from the outside there will be 3 philps head screws around the perimeter with just enough of a gap to to get the screwdriver into these will adjust each light.

yes i had and still do have the same problem , i even upgraded my loom and globes , but the lighting is still pi$$ weak i tried adjusting them one night on a flat road etc , but i thought they were all good but it seems it was just my eyes adjusted to the dark enviroment i need a wall , cause as they are they are pretty useless.

From Gregory's-------position vehicle 5 mt from wall ,square and level, tyre pressures etc. draw lines at same level and centre of lights on wall. With low beam, lights cutoff should be 63 ( !!!!!!! ) mm below centre and point of upward raise on or left of centre of light beam. From the picture the adjustment screws are on top of light housing.

sorry about that thats my toy yes an mq but this is for the mrs's gu which i drove the other night out bush and was not impressed with the lights iam glad iam not the only one


also thanks for the info so far i will come in very handy and will have a play with it on the weekend id say i could only improve on them
