rear axle

i replaced my rear axle oil seals not long ago

but i seem to have oil leaking out onto the rear disc pads any ideas? where it could steel be coming from

If it's definitly diff oil it's the axle seal or check your brake caliper, could it be brake fluid?

same deaql buddy.. changes dff centres about 8 months ago so overhauld complete diff..seal bearings etc...now i find rear passenger seal leaking. pretty pissed off..my bucket of bolts is constantly under the spanner lately. will be working on this on the weekend. just check ur breather on the diff as they will leak from the seals if breather not working

Check the o-ring that seals the bearing housing to the axle case--also might be the outer seal leaking which requires axle bearins to be pressed of to replace. ITs easy to damage the inner axle seal when re-inserting axle shaft if not careful

yeah could be o ring or outer seals?

if it is outer seals whats it worth to have it press and replace etc? im unemployed at the moments and xmas shopping sent me brock early lolol just about
