My paj has decided that its time to take up smokeing. Im presuming its the valve stem seals as it doesnt blow smoke all the time... It mainly seems to do it after idleing for a bit, then once shes on the move again its happy untill left to idle for another few minutes. Mind you, at times it can be quite an embarrising amount of smoke, guaranteed to turn heads
. Does this sound like a familiar prob to anyone??? Does anyone have an Idea of how much the surgery to get the stem seals replaced would roughly cost ??????

Thats all good then, I was fearing a ridiculos price tag on it... Ill let her keep smokeing for a bit longer then, at least untill santa has been and gone...

O.k Its just about time I made her quit now, 360 sounds like a darn good price. Was that a melbourne mechanic? Also does anybody know if its much more of an effort to get it re ringed? If I can get both done for a grand or under I might as well do that.

my mechanic is in qld and thats mate rates
also
i have been qouted by a 4wd mob that its alot expensive if done right
you'd might as well get it ringed etc if your gunna be doing that
im leaving mine to smoke funnily enuff i broken more gear on mine and
i found if u leave it smoke too long you better watch your oil consumption etc
im def getting mine done after long weekend along with the long awaited lift kit
