whats the difference between a 78 and a 79 series?
is one a ute the other the troopy?

There both utes i think
The 79 has a bigger cab than the 78 i think

i have also been told now that the 78 covers the non turbo utes aswell, can anyone confirm that

major difference is that the 79 has a 3 link panhard front sprung under rear.
they don't have 79 on this page

go to the image gallery on that site and you'll find that all the utes are called 79's and if you click the features link it talks about a 78 and it being a troop carrier
They don't call it a troop carrier for no reason. The LC78 Troopy is built to carry brawn. Choose from the 3 seater, the 5 seater, or throw yourself and 10 others into the 11 seater
