Look very closely for rust. I didn't really check mine over enough and later found alot of rust. Under the mats under the backseats, GUARD RUST and just general like rusted hinges etc.

What year are you looking for?? If you have 5 grand to spend, go for a 1992-1995. Have you got any mods planned for it? What state are you in?

Hi mate,

If you are going to be doing a lot of ks in it, I would look at a coilly personally. The one advertised sounds like a good deal. Try to get the price down but would be a good deal. Looks like low ks and well loved. I have one and would never go back. great for what you are after and after time can do some basic mods to go places you never thought possible in a zook. haha. 2" bl and some 235/75R15 muddies is a good start. cheap too. can put a lockright or weld the rear and get a 2" spring lift later on. Is a great start. good luck.

hi mate,

since your in brisbane, get on this forum and have a look around. There are lots of zook fanatics. I am from the gold coast and always on there even though i am in perth with work at the moment. They may be able to help now or later on.

Personally i think he's asking just a tad too much, the k's arent particularly low, there are others out there with much less on the clock. It just depends on how long u want to wait until the right one comes up.

96 onwards, there are nowhere near as many around but they are worth the search as far as i am concerned.

thanks for that, can ya go 2 in spring lift without stuffing the steering geometry in a coily, or are they similar to the gq with offset radius arm bushes for 2 in
cheers

cool i am really getting exited about the new zook, what about leagality, is there anyone here who has personally spoken to queensland transport and discussed things like 2in body and spring lifts (on a patrol 2 + 2 = buggar all lift, zook = cheap = awesome. do they have to be engineered or passing pits is all you need?
cheers

Hi mate,

I have the 2" lift from suzisport. Is great for me, and with a 2" bl will clear 31s. I am unsure of your lift issues in qld. but from what i understand you are to have a engineers for bl. 31s are illegal too. but 235/75R15s wont stuff up your gearing economy etc and are a good start. Thats what i will be running. Good luck.
